Marinet2 Showcase and Networking Session at EWTEC

The Marinet2 project will hold a showcase event alongside EWTEC 2017 in Cork, Ireland on 29 August from 17:30 – 20:00 at the Aula Maxima, in UCC.
Following introductory presentations from the Marinet2 team, attendees will have the opportunity to network with representatives from a range of Marinet2 test facilities, and explore the testing possibilities and support available to them.

About Marinet2
MaRINET2 is a €10.5 million project which includes 39 organisations representing some of the top offshore renewable energy testing facilities in Europe. It provides technology developers with free access to these test facilities through a series of competitive calls for applications. Through the project wind, wave and tidal energy technologies can be tested, as well as electrical systems, and technologies with cross-cutting applications. The project can also provide virtual access to test facilities to test technologies remotely. A second call for project applications will open on 15 January, 2018.
