Join us for drinks and dinner: Network with your peers and colleagues, catch-up with old friends and make new connections! 

Set in the beautiful Restaurant Albert, right in the centre of Brussels, this year’s dinner will feature drinks, delicious fresh food and fun activities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Meet us in Scotland House  and join Team Scotland and OEE to kick off  OEE2025 in the heart of Brussels’ EU quarter. Join for networking drinks and an ocean energy photo exhibition, but don’t wait, as places are limited!

This side event will showcase the EuropeWave Phase 3 projects, highlighting their current progress and key lessons learned. A dynamic panel discussion will explore the projects’ strategic vision beyond EuropeWave, with a particular focus on advancing toward Stage 4 of the IEA-OES framework. The event will also feature a dedicated information session on the upcoming Horizon Europe call, offering new opportunities for funding wave energy research and development through a match-funded PCP programme.

The OEE2025 exhibition hall is a who’s who of the ocean energy sector. This year’s exhibition brings not only the event’s sponsors and most important ocean energy companies, but also a Tech Trail with 5 pieces of ocean energy technology.

Join OEE and the exhibitors in a drinks reception, where the next winner of the Vi Maris award will be announced!

POM West Vlaanderen – a regional development agency – will welcome all participants in Oostende, the beating heart of the Blue Economy in Belgium. 

The cost for the visit is €50 + VAT. Register by 15 October

• Visit the Coastal & Ocean Basin (COB)
