In his keynote address, the Minister will outline Scotland’s plans to build on the world leading successes of its pioneering ocean energy industry, and how Scotland will work with Europe’s other ocean energy heavyweights, such as France, to bring the sector to commercial readiness.
Rémi Gruet, CEO of Ocean Energy Europe said:
“It sends a strong signal that Minister Wheelhouse has chosen to accompany his industry partners to France this October for the OEE2017 Conference & Exhibition. The ocean energy industry is reaching a pivotal moment in its development, and collaboration between the frontrunner nations will be fundamental to getting the sector over the line to commercialisation.
