Kick-off Cocktail: Copernicus Marine Services and OEE Partnership
Mercator Ocean and Ocean Energy Europe (OEE) are pleased to invite you to a reception cocktail to kick off a partnership signed between the two entities in the context of supporting ocean renewable energy through the Copernicus Marine Service.
This cooperation will help the Copernicus Marine Service (CMEMS) to support the activities of Ocean Energy Europe industry members by raising awareness about open data & services. The aim is to stimilate the sustainable blue economy and blue growth by boosting the activities in the marine renewable energy sector through the provision of free and open marine data.

On 21 June, the Marine Tech Expo takes place in Plymouth, UK.
The day before, 20 June, the MET-CERTIFIED project organises a visit to 3 test sites in Falmouth and Plymouth:
- DMaC (Dynamic Marine Component test facility)
- FaBTest (Falmouth Bay Test site)
- Plymouth COAST laboratory (Coastal, Ocean And Sediment Transport lab)
This site visit is open to companies active in marine energy technology and standardisation and certification.

With €100.4 million of EU Structural Funds prioritised for marine energy in Wales, two array scale Demonstration Zones, seabed agreements in place for 3 separate tidal projects and a number of proposals for tidal range projects, Wales has the potential to be a world-leader in the marine energy market.
