You are invited to submit your abstract! ICOE OEE 2026 is the place to showcase your recent technical developments, lessons learnt, achievements and important discussions. It is a unique opportunity to bring together industry, innovation and research. Submit your abstract via the online submission platform. ICOE OEE 2026 will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands, 5 – 7 October 2026.
Abstract Topics – Ocean Energy today, tomorrow and beyond
Abstract submissions will centre around three thematic tracks:
• Research, innovation and enabling technologies
• Building confidence with data and experience
• A supportive ecosystem for ocean energy development
The call for abstracts will open January 26 and close March 31.
ICOE OEE 2026 – The fine print
Abstracts
The work must be original and specifically prepared for ICOE OEE 2026. Each abstract will be assessed by two independent assessors.
Evaluation
Abstracts will be reviewed by experts from the ICOE OEE 2026 International Advisory Committee, which gathers members of ocean energy industries, associations, academic bodies and public authorities worldwide.
Poster Award
Young researchers (students, including PhD students, and post-docs in their first 5 years of research career) will be a part of a competition sponsored by Ocean Energy Systems. Full details available here
