This call offers offshore renewable energy developers a unique opportunity to test their technologies in real conditions at sea, connected to the grid, by accessing an available slot at the SEM-REV offshore test site.
Testing at SEM-REV means accessing a real offshore environment to validate technologies at sea, accelerate deployment, reduce technical and operational risks, and gain visibility within the marine renewable energy sector.
This call is open to innovative projects in floating wind, wave energy, energy storage & conversion, floating solar, and other offshore renewable energy technologies. Projects with grid connection ambitions will be evaluated in priority.
The call will close on 10th July 2026. Selected project(s) will benefit from:
- Access to the SEM-REV grid-connected offshore test site, from October 2027 at the earliest
- Financial support of up to €25,000,
- Tailored support for project development,
- Dedicated communication and visibility actions.
OPEN SEA demo is operated by Fondation OPEN-C, with the support from Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and Région Pays de la Loire.
