EUSEW 2026 – Energy security made in Europe: scaling up innovative renewable energy sources

Homegrown innovative renewables can reinforce Europe’s energy security and industrial leadership by reducing energy imports and lowering electricity prices. What does it take to scale them up?

This high-level session gathers innovators, policymakers, and investors to debate how to scale up innovative renewables and innovative forms of deployment. First, 3 innovators will briefly pitch their technology’s solution and contribution to energy security. Second, an interactive panel discussion including speakers from the Commission, Parliament, and investors will debate the best mix of policy support to reach the EU’s innovative renewable energy targets.
