With the European Offshore Renewables Strategy soon to be launched, and a new Horizon Europe programme in the pipeline, 2021 will be the year of offshore renewables. And it will kick off a decade of ocean energy.
Ocean Energy Europe’s Donagh Cagney will set out our sector’s plans for ambitious deployments, dramatic cost reductions and exciting industrial growth between now and 2030. Joining him will be ocean energy expert Davide Magagna, who will share the perspective of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. The event will be officially opened by the Director General of DG MARE, Charlina Vitcheva.
