The LIFE Programme is a European funding programme for the environment and climate action. The aim is to fund projects that enable the effective implementation of EU legislation.
The sub-programme “Clean Energy Transition” (CET) is focused on breaking market barriers and sharing best practices to accelerate the rollout of clean technologies. The annual LIFE Work Programme has both open “standard action project” (SAP) calls and objective-specific calls. The objective-specific calls in this year’s LIFE CET Work Programme are not relevant for ocean energy, so this briefing focuses on the CET-SAP call.
